Apple claims iCarly (pear phone)

in a 2010 post that mentioned iCarly (and which was based upon the forthcoming announcement of the « iSlate »), I noted that I was getting tired of the i-prefix. Apple has been using it since 1998. My conclusion: »If you can use some method to convince Apple – or at least those who purchase Apple products – that the i- prefix is undesirable, uncool, fascist, whatever – then perhaps Apple will change its marketing ploy and get rid of this tired old prefix. »Perhaps Tim Cook could be reminded that the first letter of IBM is « i. » That should be enough to change Apple’s ways.I think Nickelodeon should be sued for some rights by Apple. I mean come on, They have « i » Carly, they have Pear Phones, Pear pad, Pear computers, it’s still a fruit like Apple, just a different name. It bothers me that they have an episode in there thats says that they can’t take an idea, change the name and call it theirs, because that is exactly what Nickelodeon is doing with the technology in all their shows. Nickelodeon.
